However, after the overthrow of the Taliban regime the women now seemed to walk even further back behind their husbands and are happy to maintain the old custom.
Walters asked an Afghan woman why do you still seem happy with the old custom that you once tried to change?
The woman looked at Walters straight in the eyes, and without hesitation said, "Land Mines."
